MEP Estimation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled MEP Estimator with experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing estimation for fit-out and construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, material take-offs, and pricing based on project drawings, specifications, and BOQs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project drawings, specifications, and tender documents for MEP works.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to support pricing accuracy.
• Analyze project risks, value engineering options, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams for technical and commercial clarifications.
• Prepare and submit complete tender documents within deadlines.
• Assist in post-tender negotiations and value engineering discussions.
• Maintain a database of prices, suppliers, and subcontractors for future projects.
• Support project handover by providing detailed cost breakdowns and estimation reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of UAE experience in MEP estimation (fit-out or construction projects).
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, materials, and construction methods.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software (e.g., Candy, PlanSwift, or similar).
• Knowledge of local market rates, suppliers, and standards.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with design & build or turnkey fit-out projects.
