MEP Estimation Engineer

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented MEP Estimation Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and tender submissions for MEP projects including HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems.
• Prepare cost estimates including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare rate analysis and cost build-ups.
• Identify project risks, exclusions, and value engineering opportunities.
• Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals.
• Coordinate with the design, procurement, and project teams for clarification and cost optimization.
• Attend pre-tender meetings and site visits when required.
• Ensure compliance with DM, DEWA, DCD, and other UAE authority requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years of MEP estimation experience in UAE.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems.
• Experience in tendering for commercial, warehouse, and industrial projects.
• Familiarity with UAE authority standards (DEWA, DCD, DM, DIP, etc.).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel.
• Experience with estimation software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tenders.

Preferred

• UAE Driving License.
• Experience in Design & Build projects.
• Knowledge of value engineering and cost control.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From AED5,000.00 per month
