MEP Estimation Engineer

Job Title: MEP Estimator

Analyse Drawings & Specifications

Review architectural and engineering plans to determine scope and quantities of MEP systems.

• Cost Estimation

Estimate material quantities, labor hours and equipment costs using estimation software and market rates/regional pricing data.

• Tendering & Proposal Preparation

Prepare and submit competitive bids for tenders, ensuring compliance with client requirements.

• Coordination with Teams

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to align cost estimates with project goals.

• Value Engineering

Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or performance.

• Vendor & Subcontractor Liaison

Obtain quotations, evaluate offers, and define scope of work for MEP subcontractors.

• Documentation & Reporting

Maintain estimation records, update pricing databases, and provide detailed cost breakdowns

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 3–5 years of experience in MEP estimation (UAE experience preferred)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, estimation software (e.g., PlanSwift, CCS Candy), and MS Office

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per hour
