MEP Estimator (Electrical Background)

Location: Qatar

We are hiring an experienced MEP Estimator (Electrical Background) to prepare accurate cost estimates for MEP systems across various construction and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents (electrical focus)
• Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and material take-offs
• Identify project risks, gaps, and value engineering opportunities
• Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams
• Support bid submissions, budgeting, and cost control
• Maintain cost databases and estimation records

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in MEP estimation
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and codes
• Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation software
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
• Experience working on GCC projects
• Familiarity with local standards and regulations
