MEP Leader

Job Responsibilities

Overall plan the design and deepening of MEP professional (mechanical, electrical, water supply and drainage, fire protection, HVAC) , formulate the MEP design plan and schedule, and ensure the smooth progress of the design work.

Be responsible for the design of MEP system, including machine room layout, pipeline comprehensive arrangement, load calculation, system selection, energy consumption optimization, to ensure the rationality, safety and energy saving of the system.

Lead the pipeline comprehensive arrangement (BIM pipeline layout), collision check and deepening design, coordinate with the BIM team to solve the pipeline collision problem, and ensure the smooth implementation of on-site construction.

Familiar with local power supply, water supply, gas, fire protection codes and approval requirements in Saudi Arabia/Middle East, ensure that the MEP design meets the local compliance requirements, and coordinate the approval work of relevant departments.

Be responsible for MEP design changes, on-site technical guidance, commissioning and acceptance, independently handle MEP professional on-site problems, and ensure the quality of MEP construction.

Coordinate with architectural, structural and other professional teams, solve the cross-professional coordination problems of MEP, and ensure the consistency of the overall project design.

Education Background: Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, HVAC, Water Supply and Drainage or related majors; Master's degree is preferred.

Work Experience: More than 15 years of MEP design and on-site construction coordination experience in construction projects, among which more than 10 years of experience as an MEP lead; experience in overseas construction projects (Saudi Arabia/Middle East) is preferred; experience in large-scale projects is preferred.

Professional Skills: Proficient in MEP design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, etc.); familiar with local MEP codes in Saudi Arabia/Middle East and American codes; have strong ability in system selection, load calculation and pipeline comprehensive arrangement; understand MEP construction technology, commissioning and acceptance process.

Comprehensive Abilities: Strong logical thinking and problem-solving ability, able to independently solve complex MEP technical problems; strong communication and coordination ability, able to coordinate with multiple teams and relevant departments; proficient in English (listening, speaking, reading and writing), able to work in English as the working language.

Others: Be able to work on the project site for a long time; have relevant professional qualification certificates (such as registered electrical engineer, registered mechanical engineer) is preferred.
