MEP Project Engineer - Electrical

Position: MEP Project Engineer (Electrical)
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Job Responsibilities:

• Execute electrical works on site including LV, ELV, lighting, power distribution, earthing, and backup systems for villas and high-rise projects.
• Coordinate with Senior Electrical Engineer, site engineers, QA/QC, and planning team to ensure smooth project execution.
• Supervise technicians, subcontractors, and site staff to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Review and ensure proper implementation of electrical drawings, BOQs, and material submittals.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning support of electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with ADDC, ADM, and Civil Defense (ADCD) regulations.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports on site progress, manpower, and material consumption.
• Assist in resolving technical and site-related issues efficiently.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5–7 years UAE experience in electrical MEP projects.
• Proven experience in villas and high-rise buildings is mandatory.
• Knowledge of Abu Dhabi building codes, ADDC/DEWA, and Civil Defense (ADCD) regulations.
• Hands-on experience in LV, ELV, lighting, earthing, and distribution systems.
• Strong reporting, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under strict deadlines.

Certifications (Preferred):

• ADDC/DEWA approvals or equivalent
• Civil Defense Fire Safety approvals (ADCD)
• Electrical project management or site coordination certifications (advantageous)
