About Us
Design District Décor LLC is a leading interior design and fit-out company in the UAE, delivering top-tier projects across commercial, retail, hospitality, and residential sectors. We are looking for an experienced MEP Project Engineer – Fit-Out to oversee and manage mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works within our interior fit-out projects to ensure quality, timely execution, and compliance with specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all MEP activities related to fit-out projects.
• Review MEP drawings, specifications, and shop drawings for compliance and constructability.
• Liaise with project managers, design consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of MEP works.
• Monitor progress, quality, and safety of MEP installations on-site.
• Prepare and submit regular progress reports and documentation.
• Manage and resolve technical issues related to MEP systems.
• Coordinate with other disciplines (civil, architectural, structural) to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with UAE building codes, authority requirements, and safety regulations.
• Assist in material procurement and ensure timely delivery of MEP equipment and materials.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (specialization in MEP is preferred).
• Minimum 4–7 years of UAE experience in MEP project engineering within fit-out or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems including HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire protection, and low current systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other project management tools.
• Familiar with UAE codes, regulations, and local authority procedures.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in integrated MEP coordination with fit-out trades.
• Knowledge of green building standards and energy efficiency is a plus.
