We are looking for an MEP Project Manager who is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of MEP systems in construction projects. Key duties include managing budgets, timelines, and subcontractors; ensuring compliance with codes, safety regulations, and design specifications; coordinating with other project teams; and resolving technical issues to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities:

  • Project planning and execution: Develop and implement detailed plans for MEP installation, ensuring all work aligns with the overall project schedule and milestones.
  • Budget and cost control: Manage project budgets, including estimating costs for materials and labor, and monitor spending to ensure the project stays within financial limits.
  • Team and subcontractor management: Lead and manage the MEP team, including subcontractors, ensuring they adhere to project requirements, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Coordination and communication: Act as the main point of contact, coordinating with architects, engineers, and other contractors to integrate MEP systems into the overall project design and resolve any conflicts.
  • Quality and safety: Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure all MEP installations meet industry standards and comply with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety requirements.
  • Technical oversight: Review shop drawings, submittals, and technical specifications; provide technical advice; and resolve any technical or site-related issues that arise.
  • Documentation and reporting: Ensure all required documentation and approvals are submitted on time and provide regular updates on project status to stakeholders.

Qualifications and skills

  • A bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or a related engineering field is often required.
  • At least 12 years of experience in project management, especially within the construction industry, is crucial.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Familiarity with project management software and design software is often necessary.
  • Immediate joiner.
