Job Summary

The MEP Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and completing MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) works in accordance with project specifications, timelines, and budget requirements. The role ensures compliance with contractual obligations, authority regulations, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities1. Project Planning & Execution

  • Manage complete MEP scope from initiation to handover.
  • Review drawings, specifications, BOQ, and contract documents.
  • Prepare project execution plan, manpower plan, and material schedule.
  • Coordinate with main contractor, consultant, and client.

2. Technical Management

  • Review and approve shop drawings and material submittals.
  • Ensure compliance with local authority regulations (e.g., DEWA, Civil Defense, DM, etc.).
  • Monitor site progress and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings.
  • Resolve technical issues and site coordination conflicts.

3. Cost & Budget Control

  • Monitor project budget and control costs.
  • Track variations and prepare variation claims.
  • Review subcontractor payments and material procurement.

4. Resource & Team Management

  • Lead engineers, supervisors, and site staff.
  • Conduct regular site meetings and progress reviews.
  • Ensure productivity and performance targets are achieved.

5. Quality & Safety Compliance

  • Ensure works comply with QA/QC standards.
  • Coordinate inspections and testing.
  • Ensure HSE compliance as per project and regulatory requirements.

6. Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
  • Monitor project milestones and deadlines.
  • Maintain proper documentation for approvals and handover.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 8–12 years of experience in MEP construction projects.
  • UAE experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of authority regulations and approval processes.

Skills Required

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Contractual and commercial awareness.
  • Excellent coordination and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in high-rise residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects.
  • Familiarity with FIDIC contract conditions.
  • Experience handling authority submissions and approvals.

Pay: From AED15,000.00 per month
