MEP Project Manager

Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly capable MEP Project Manager / MEP Operations Lead to establish and lead the MEP execution environment for a major construction project in Abu Dhabi.

This role goes beyond traditional MEP supervision.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

- Building and organizing the MEP execution team

- Managing all MEP coordination and execution activities

- Coordinating with Civil, Architectural, QS, Procurement, and Operations teams

- Supporting the setup of structured operational and technical workflows

- Ensuring smooth MEP execution from mobilization through project delivery

We are seeking a practical, execution-focused leader with strong coordination ability and hands-on project experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build and organize the MEP project execution structure

- Identify staffing and subcontractor requirements for MEP works

- Lead MEP planning, coordination, and execution activities

- Coordinate with Civil, Architectural, and external stakeholders

- Manage MEP subcontractors, suppliers, and technical coordination

- Review and monitor MEP shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs

- Coordinate procurement requirements and material planning

- Support implementation of Primavera-based project controls

- Ensure alignment between execution progress and commercial/cost control

- Maintain proper reporting, documentation, and workflow discipline

- Support digital workflows and integrated operational systems

- Ensure quality, safety, and operational consistency across all MEP activities

Requirements:

- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background preferred

- 8–15 years of practical MEP construction experience

- Strong experience in large-scale building projects

- Strong coordination and execution background

- Experience managing MEP subcontractors and site operations

- Familiarity with Primavera P6 workflows and project controls

- Strong organizational and operational mindset

- UAE construction experience preferred

- Community buildings / commercial projects

- Main contractor or large subcontractor environments

- Full MEP project lifecycle management

- Multi-disciplinary project coordination
