MEP Project Manager with Fit Out Experience

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

• Manage end-to-end MEP works for interior fit-out projects, from design coordination through execution and handover.
• Review MEP drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and method statements to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Develop and monitor project programs, manpower plans, and material schedules.
• Ensure works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and authority requirements.

Design Coordination & Approvals

• Coordinate with consultants, designers, and main contractors to resolve design clashes and technical issues.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of shop drawings, material submittals, and authority approvals.
• Coordinate MEP services with architectural, joinery, and specialist fit-out elements.

Site & Team Management

• Lead and supervise site engineers, supervisors, foremen, and subcontractors.
• Allocate work, monitor progress, and ensure productivity targets are met.
• Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality, safety, and compliance.

Subcontractor & Vendor Management

• Appoint, coordinate, and manage MEP subcontractors and suppliers.
• Review subcontractor performance, work quality, and compliance with schedules.
• Coordinate material procurement and ensure timely delivery to site.

Cost Control & Reporting

• Monitor project budgets, variations, and cost control related to MEP works.
• Review and certify subcontractor progress claims and invoices.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, including manpower, progress, and risk updates.

Testing, Commissioning & Handover

• Plan and oversee testing, commissioning, and balancing of MEP systems.
• Ensure completion of as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and handover documentation.
• Coordinate snag clearance and final handover to client/consultant.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all MEP works comply with project HSE requirements and UAE regulations.
• Enforce safety procedures and conduct toolbox talks where required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
