MEP Proposal Engineer

We are looking for a Technical Proposal Engineer for a renowned engineering firm in Lahore. Are you passionate about steel fabrication and skilled in creating competitive technical proposals? This role requires 2+ years of hands-on experience in estimating and preparing bids for pressure vessels, storage tanks, LPG equipment, structural steel, and cable management systems.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare technical and commercial proposals for fabrication projects (pressure vessels, tanks, LPG bowsers, cable trays, structural steel).
• Review RFQs, drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Prepare BOQs, quantity take-offs, and detailed cost estimations.
• Source and evaluate vendor/subcontractor quotations.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, QA/QC, and procurement teams.
• Support bid submissions and attend pre-bid/clarification meetings when required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in fabrication proposals/estimations.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, welding methods, and applicable codes (ASME, API, AWS, ASTM).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and ERP systems.
