Job Title: MEP Quantity Surveyor (Mechanical Focus)

Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled MEP Quantity Surveyor with a mechanical specialization to support our tendering and pre-contract activities. You will be responsible for quantifying mechanical works, pricing bills of quantities, and ensuring clarity of scope during the tender stage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Study tender drawings, specifications, and related documents.
• Define and clarify the scope of mechanical works.
• Perform quantity take-off for mechanical services based on tender drawings.
• Prepare and price Bills of Quantities (BOQ) under the guidance of the Tender Manager.
• Assist in compiling cost estimates and tender submissions.
• Coordinate with the engineering and procurement teams as required.

Education:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Major:

• Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Work Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in MEP quantity surveying, preferably within the UAE/GCC construction industry.
• Proven experience in tender analysis, quantity take-off, and BOQ pricing for mechanical systems.

Professional Certifications:

• Not mandatory, but any relevant certification (e.g., RICS, CIOB) will be an advantage.

Language & Computer Skills:

• Proficient in written and spoken English.

Other Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines within a team environment.
• Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiar with QS software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam) is a plus.

Pay: AED14,000.00 - AED16,000.00 per month
