Overview
Lead and oversee the full lifecycle of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems in large-scale construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design and planning of MEP systems, ensuring compliance with Saudi building code and international standards.
- Manage project budgets and timelines, proactively identifying potential risks and implementing effective mitigation measures.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of MEP components within overall project designs and execution.
- Mentor and guide engineering teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and ongoing professional development.
- Assess and select vendors and subcontractors based on technical capabilities, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
- Integrate sustainability and energy efficiency practices into MEP system designs, aligning with environmental and operational goals.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in MEP engineering, with GCC experience.
- Proficient in design and modelling tools such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and BIM technologies.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex MEP projects across sectors like Residential Buildings, high-rise developments and infrastructure systems.
- In-depth knowledge of the Saudi Building Code and international building codes, safety regulations, and sustainable design principles.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with acute attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced, high-pressure environments while ensuring quality and on-time delivery.
