JOB DESCRIPTION: MEP SENIOR ENGINEER

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced MEP Senior Engineer with minimum 5 years of GCC experience to lead mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design and execution across projects. The candidate will ensure compliance with local regulations, quality standards, and project timelines while coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design & Technical Leadership

• Review, coordinate, and approve MEP designs, drawings, and calculations.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Provide technical guidance to MEP engineers and site teams.

2. Project Coordination & Execution

• Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and consultants for integrated solutions.
• Monitor project progress and ensure MEP installations meet design specifications.
• Identify and resolve technical issues proactively.

3. Site Supervision & Quality Control

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design, standards, and safety.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.
• Work closely with QA/QC and HSE teams to maintain quality and safety standards.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare technical submittals, method statements, and as-built drawings.
• Maintain project documentation, reports, and progress logs.
• Support procurement and vendor coordination for MEP materials.

5. Client & Stakeholder Communication

• Attend project meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Provide technical clarifications and ensure client satisfaction.
• Mentor and guide junior MEP engineers.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or MEP Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of MEP experience in GCC projects (commercial, residential, or industrial).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, electrical systems, and building services.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and MS Office.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
