MEP Site Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Site Supervision & Execution

Supervise and monitor daily site activities for Mechanical (including HVAC), Electrical, and Plumbing systems.

Oversee HVAC ducting, piping, equipment installation, testing, and commissioning.

Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and industry codes.

Monitor work progress and align it with the approved project schedule.

• Coordination & Communication

Coordinate between MEP disciplines to avoid conflicts and ensure smooth execution.

Liaise with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.

Participate in coordination meetings and provide technical inputs.

• Quality & Safety

Implement quality control procedures to ensure all MEP and HVAC works meet required standards.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.

Conduct inspections and tests according to QA/QC procedures.

• Documentation & Reporting

Prepare daily site reports, inspection records, and progress updates.

Review and approve technical submittals, shop drawings, and HVAC equipment specifications.

Maintain proper records for as-built drawings, material approvals, and site instructions.

• Problem Solving

Identify, analyze, and resolve site issues promptly.

Recommend and implement engineering solutions to improve efficiency and avoid delays.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (HVAC specialization preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in MEP and HVAC site supervision.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation methods, load calculations, ducting, and piping works.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, HVAC layouts, and specifications.
• Good communication and coordination skills with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project scheduling software.

Pay: RO400.000 - RO600.000 per month
