MEP Site Engineer (with Estimation Skills)

Job Overview:

The MEP Site Engineer will oversee and manage all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works on-site, ensuring high-quality execution according to design and specifications. This role also requires strong estimation skills to support project budgeting, material planning, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Execution & Management

• Supervise and coordinate MEP installation works on-site.
• Ensure adherence to project drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
• Monitor workmanship and quality control during all stages of installation.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other engineering teams for smooth project execution.

Estimation & Cost Management

• Prepare detailed MEP cost estimates for projects.
• Analyze and validate contractor quotations and vendor proposals.
• Track material usage and site costs to maintain project budget.
• Suggest cost-effective alternatives without compromising quality.

Technical Support

• Review MEP drawings and highlight discrepancies.
• Provide technical guidance to on-site teams.
• Assist in resolving technical challenges during installation.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily site reports and progress updates.
• Prepare material take-offs, BOQs, and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely project completion.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (or related field).
• 3–7 years of experience in MEP site execution, preferably in construction or interior fit-outs.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, installation standards, and safety procedures.
• Experience in estimation, BOQs, and cost control for MEP works.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar design software.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driving license preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month

• MEP site execution: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• UAE driving license (Preferred)
