MEP Superintendent

Praetorian Power Protection, the leader in NETA testing and Staff Augmentation for the Mission Critical Industry, is searching for an MEP Superintendent to join our team in Hillsboro, OR.

In this role, you will:

  • Direct and manage all daily MEP site operations, ensuring compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
  • Coordinate closely with field personnel to align with the project plan.
  • Maintain clear communication with the Project Manager regarding daily progress, issues, and solutions.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and team members to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Contribute to project planning phases such as start-up meetings and scheduling, ensuring a robust mobilization strategy.
  • Oversee subcontractor performance ensuring adherence to quality and ethical standards.
  • Lead safety meetings and inspections to uphold stringent safety protocols across the site.
  • Implement quality management practices including benchmarking and first delivery inspections within scheduled timelines.
  • Handle subcontractor closeout processes, including utility transfers and owner training.

To qualify for this role, you must have the following background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical, electrical, and building controls systems, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical building system engineering principles.
  • Expertise in LOTO/Control of Hazardous Energy Programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex technical scopes.
