Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee all MEP installations, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Coordinate MEP work with general construction activities to maintain project schedules and avoid conflicts.
  • Work closely with subcontractors, engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, enforce safety protocols, and resolve any field issues.
  • Review MEP drawings, submittals, RFIs, and change orders to ensure accuracy and constructability.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, industry standards, and project-specific requirements.
  • Lead MEP coordination meetings to address sequencing, logistics, and potential challenges.
  • Track material deliveries, installation progress, and manpower requirements to keep projects on schedule.
  • Assist in developing and managing the project budget for MEP scopes of work.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the field team and subcontractors.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in construction management, with extensive Superintendent experience with a strong background in MEP systems.
  • A strong background in overseeing projects with historical restoration and complex MEP infrastructure (Geothermal wells/heat, Solar power, commercial swimming pools preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of MEP systems, drawings, and coordination tools.
  • Communication: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to manage the team appropriately to ensure efficient project execution.

The estimated salary for this position is $65-75/hour. (Salary commensurate with experience and local cost of living.)
