MEP Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Installation and Maintenance: Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including HVAC systems, electrical wiring, and plumbing fixtures.
• System Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of MEP systems to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to prevent disruptions in service.
• Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine preventative maintenance checks on all MEP equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Technical Reporting: Prepare and present technical reports detailing the status of MEP systems and recommend upgrades or modifications to improve efficiency and reduce energy costs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including HVAC, electrical wiring, and plumbing installations.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues that may arise in MEP systems.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to collaborate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
