Job Description – MEP Technician

Duties & Responsibilities:

Mechanical Works

• Perform maintenance and repairs on pumps, motors, fans, AHUs, FCUs, and HVAC equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
• Replace belts, filters, bearings, and mechanical parts.
• Check and repair plumbing systems (taps, pipes, drains, valves, water heaters).

Electrical Works

• Troubleshoot electrical issues such as tripping, power failure, and faulty wiring.
• Repair or replace switches, sockets, lighting fixtures, and circuit breakers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on DBs, SMDBs, MDBs, and electrical panels.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards.

Plumbing Works

• Fix blockages, leaks, and damaged pipes.
• Install and repair sanitary fittings (WC, washbasins, faucets, showers).
• Maintain water pumps, float switches, and drainage systems.

ELV & General Maintenance

• Assist with maintenance of intercoms, CCTV, access control, and other low-voltage systems.
• Carry out minor civil works if needed (patching, painting touch-ups).
• Monitor and report any faults or safety hazards.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma/ITI in Electrical, Mechanical, or MEP field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in facility maintenance (residential/commercial).
• Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of tools, testing equipment, and safety procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
