Job Purpose:

To carry out preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems to ensure optimal functionality and safety in residential, commercial, or industrial facilities.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:1. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance

• Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs of HVAC systems, electrical panels, plumbing fixtures, pumps, motors, and other MEP equipment.
• Respond to maintenance requests, diagnose faults, and repair issues efficiently.
• Support emergency maintenance and troubleshoot breakdowns.

2. Mechanical Systems

• Maintain HVAC systems including AHUs, FCUs, compressors, ductwork, and chilled water systems.
• Perform basic servicing on motors, pumps, belts, bearings, and ventilation systems.
• Support fire-fighting system maintenance including sprinkler lines and fire pumps.

3. Electrical Systems

• Carry out maintenance of electrical installations including lighting, power sockets, distribution boards, and control panels.
• Identify and fix electrical faults using standard tools and testing devices.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of electrical equipment.

4. Plumbing Systems

• Repair and maintain plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, sanitary fittings, and water heaters.
• Fix leaks, replace valves, unclog drains, and install new piping as required.

5. Safety & Compliance

• Follow safety protocols including use of PPE and lockout-tagout procedures.
• Ensure all works comply with local regulations and internal safety standards.
• Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to the supervisor immediately.

6. Documentation & Reporting

• Record maintenance activities, job completion status, and material usage in logbooks or digital systems.
• Support the supervisor in preparing maintenance reports and inventories.

7. Coordination & Team Support

• Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to complete tasks.
• Assist in maintaining spare parts stock and tool inventory.
• Provide input during technical inspections or audits.

Qualifications & Skills:

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in MEP maintenance, preferably in facilities management.
• Multi-skilled in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
• Good troubleshooting skills and understanding of safety protocols.
• Willingness to work in shifts and on-call duties.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
