MEP Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable MEP Technician with experience in residential or commercial projects. The role involves installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire-fighting systems
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications accurately
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and ensure system efficiency
• Inspect and test MEP systems for compliance with safety and technical standards
• Coordinate with procurement, store, and maintenance teams for material availability
• Maintain records of maintenance, inspections, and service reports
• Identify defects and implement corrective actions promptly
• Support audits, compliance checks, and improvement initiatives
• Utilize systems for documentation and reporting

Requirements

• Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical or related field (preferred)
• 2+ years of experience in MEP maintenance within residential or commercial projects
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire-fighting systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and coordination abilities
• Proficient in computer usage (CMMS knowledge is an advantage)
• U.A.E. experience preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
