MEP/Mechanical Engineer

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelors/Masters in Mechanical Engineering
• 5-7 years’ of UAE Experience
• Driving License mandatory
• Looking for immediate joiners

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage multiple projects (fit outs, renovation, facility management, etc.).
• Ensuring that there are minimal problems from the design to delivery stage.
• Preparing estimate and budgets for electrical, plumbing and HVAC works.
• Prepare necessary technical documents (shop drawings, technical submittals, etc.) for consultant /client approval.
• Scheduling, Planning and overseeing allocating resources, materials and equipment to optimize project efficiency.
• Timely raise material requisition and coordinate with the procurement / suppliers for delivery of materials, ensuring their compliance with project specification and industry standards.
• Overseeing the site works and ensuring the adherence to the project schedule.
• Coordinating works at site with various vendors, meeting consultants and clients for project related matters.
• Reviewing and evaluating the work of internal and external resources.
• Making technical clarifications to resolve coordination issues and design modifications to suit specific on-site construction requirements.
• Monitoring and maintaining on-site health and safety policies and explaining the necessity of complying with these to the site team.
• Identifying issues and resolving it, implementing improvements.
• Identifying potential risks and implementing preventive measures to minimize project delays, cost overruns and safety hazards.
• Reporting project updates, milestones and potential risks to the project manager and key stakeholders.
• Monitoring project costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, productivity of resources and adhering to budget constraints.
• Providing technical guidance and expertise to resolve MEP-related challenges.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, site diaries, change orders, quality control measures and closeout documents.
