About the role


We’re looking for a Merchandise Planner & Allocator to support the planning, forecasting and trading of a defined product category. This role works closely with the Senior Merchandise Planner and plays a hands-on part in driving sales, availability and inventory performance across the business. You’ll take ownership of end-to-end merchandising activities for your category, using data and insight to support commercial decisions and deliver budgeted targets.


What you’ll be doing


  • Own the end-to-end merchandise planning and allocation for a defined category
  • Support revenue budgeting, in-season forecasting and OTB management
  • Prepare and analyze sales, inventory and margin performance against budget
  • Support annual range reviews and provide recommendations on range growth or rationalization
  • Prepare re-order quantities based on sales trends and stock performance
  • Maintain strong availability while working within OTB and inventory targets
  • Manage stock flow from suppliers in collaboration with the Assistant Merchandise Planner
  • Work closely with VM teams to manage outlet-level stock triggers
  • Propose and analyze promotions to support sales and inventory objectives
  • Provide clear analysis and summaries for revised plans and obtain sign-off where required

What you’ll bring


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience managing a merchandise category or sub-category
  • Strong experience in forecasting, trading and inventory management
  • Experience presenting performance reviews and insights to senior stakeholders
  • Background in Apparel, Toys, or Home & Gifting (essential)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commercial mindset
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Confident communicator who builds effective internal and external relationships
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong Microsoft Office proficiency

Nice to have


  • Experience in the theme park or entertainment retail environment
  • Experience using Power BI or similar reporting tools
