Merchandiser

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Merchandiser to manage the full lifecycle of product development and production processes within our sourcing operations. The ideal candidate will act as a key link between suppliers, the local office, and our head office in Denmark — ensuring seamless coordination, quality, and timely delivery

• Manage and follow up on all stages of production

• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between the Turkey office, suppliers, and the Denmark buying team.

• Monitor product quality standards and secure on-time shipments according to brand requirements.

• Organize, attend, or host collection and design trips in both Turkey and Denmark.

• Conduct market and style research, identifying emerging fashion trends, new fabrics, trims, and production techniques suitable for the brand.

• Promote the strengths and capabilities of the Turkish market to enhance business growth opportunities.

• Negotiate prices and lead time to achieve target margins while maintaining the best quality-to-cost ratio.

• Identify and onboard new suppliers, directing products through the most suitable sourcing channels.

• Collaborate closely with the Quality department to ensure all goods meet brand standards and comply with relevant regulations.

• Maintain and strengthen long-term relationships with existing suppliers while continuously scouting for new resources and innovation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Textile Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar merchandising or sourcing role within the textile or apparel industry.

• Strong understanding of textile production processes, fabric types, and garment manufacturing.

• Keen fashion sense with the ability to identify and follow market and seasonal trends.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks with strong daily follow-up discipline.

• Proficient in MS Office applications

• Fluent in English and Turkish, both written and spoken
