About the Role
As a Merchandiser, you will support GMG’s end-to-end merchandising efforts by aligning product assortments, inventory levels, and strategies with market trends and customer expectations. You will collaborate closely with

teams to deliver strong commercial results.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and curate product assortments in line with seasonal trends, customer preferences, and market demand.

Monitor stock levels to prevent stockouts, overstocking, and obsolescence.

Partner with the Buying team to select the right products and ensure timely delivery aligned with promotional calendars.

Generate and maintain detailed reports tracking inventory, sales metrics, and market trends.

Analyze sales data to support future assortment and buying decisions.

Liaise with suppliers to manage lead times, resolve discrepancies, and support commercial requirements.

Collaborate with Marketing for product launches, seasonal campaigns, and promotions.

Recommend process improvements to enhance merchandising efficiency and support business goals.
Skills & Qualifications
Education
-
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field.
Experience
-
5-7 years of experience in merchandising roles, preferably within the sports retail or apparel industry.

Proven experience in inventory management and assortment planning.
Technical Skills
-
Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and data analysis.

Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably
SAP
).

Experience using retail planning and inventory management systems.

Strong analytical mindset and comfort working with data-driven insights.

Familiarity with business intelligence tools is an advantage.
