Job Purpose

To manage and coordinate the entire merchandising process from product development to final shipment, ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, and effective communication between buyers, suppliers, and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with buyers for product development, approvals, and order execution.
• Manage sampling process, including proto, fit, size set, and pre-production samples.
• Work closely with the sourcing, production, and quality teams to ensure timely execution of orders.
• Monitor raw material procurement (fabrics, trims, accessories) and ensure availability as per production timelines.
• Prepare and follow up on Time & Action (T&A) plans to meet shipment deadlines.
• Assist in costing, price negotiation, and order confirmation with buyers and suppliers.
• Conduct order status meetings and prepare regular progress reports for management.
• Ensure adherence to buyer compliance, quality standards, and documentation requirements.
• Maintain strong relationships with buyers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Textile, Fashion, Business, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience (for entry/mid-level roles).
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, and garment manufacturing processes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple orders at once.
