Job Summary:
Responsible for assisting Buying teams with administrative functions including data entry related to one or more merchandise departments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintains frequent communica
tion with other members of the buying and planning teams as well as with internal departments vendors distribution centers and stores.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE - 2 years of experience which was gained in administrative merchandising technical or other responsible work which enabled the applicant to gain a general knowledge of merchandising and procurement practices skill in dealing with others in person-to-person work relationships and the ability to exercise mature judgement.
OR SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE - 1 year of education above the high school level may be substituted for 9 months experience up to a maximum of a 4-year bachelor s degree for 3 years of general experience. S
PECIALIZED EXPERIENCE- 1 year of experience which provided background in procurement practices knowledge of preparing and implementing of model stock plans and seasonal buying plays advertising sheets worksheets etc. or similar work which demonstrated the knowledge and ability within the procurement operational area.
