· Develop a competitive merchandise plan based on sales data, and continuously monitor and adjust the sales plan in line with industry trends and market competition.
· Prepare seasonal plans to ensure products are aligned with sales targets.
· Review product status to identify current or potential shortages based on sales and projections, and align these with upcoming shipment schedules.
· Review sales performance regularly and conduct sales comparisons to recommend actions for improving sales.
· Develop and implement pricing strategies.
· Prepare yearly and quarterly sales projections.
· Analyze slow- and fast-moving items and provide pricing recommendations accordingly.
· Follow up on special-offer inventory and liquidation plans.
· Conduct periodic showroom visits to gather merchandise feedback and address related matters.
· Attend meetings with VPs to understand plans and requirements, and coordinate with relevant departments to communicate outcomes.
· Act as the main point of contact for all product-related queries.
· Manage and communicate monthly sales reports, evaluate stock levels, define action plans, and generate reorders.
· Stay up to date with fashion industry trends and communicate relevant updates to retail merchandisers to ensure current market knowledge.
· Prepare periodic reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis as required.
· Plan shipments according to seasonal requirements.
· Prepare invoices, packing lists, and other related shipping documents.
· Take responsibility for one dedicated overseas country or region.
· Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related business field.
· Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial role within merchandising, planning, or category management.
· Additional 5–10 years of experience in retail fashion merchandising and planning.
· Strong expertise in merchandise planning, sales forecasting, and inventory management.
· Proven ability to develop pricing strategies, manage slow- and fast-moving stock, and support liquidation plans.
· Experience in seasonal planning, shipment planning, and sales performance analysis.
· Knowledge of fashion trends and ability to work closely with retail teams and senior stakeholders.
· Experience handling reports, reorders, and supplier / overseas market coordination.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1.00 - AED2.00 per month
