We're looking for a motivated MERN Stack + Next.js Developer Intern eager to learn and build real-world web applications alongside our development team.

Role Overview

As a full-stack intern, you'll work on live web projects using MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js, and Next.js. You'll be mentored by experienced developers and gain hands-on experience across the full development lifecycle, from building APIs and databases to crafting responsive, SEO-friendly frontends.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining full-stack web applications using the MERN stack and Next.js
• Develop responsive UI components with React and Next.js
• Build and integrate REST APIs using Node.js and Express
• Work with MongoDB for data modeling and queries
• Implement server-side rendering (SSR) and static generation (SSG) with Next.js
• Debug, test, and fix issues across the stack
• Collaborate with senior developers, designers, and project managers
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews and standups

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and React fundamentals
• Familiarity with the MERN stack or strong willingness to learn quickly
• Basic understanding of Next.js (routing, SSR/SSG) or eagerness to learn
• Knowledge of REST API concepts and HTTP
• Understanding of MongoDB and basic database design
• Familiarity with version control (Git)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have

• Personal or academic full-stack projects (GitHub portfolio a plus)
• Basic knowledge of TypeScript
• Familiarity with state management (Redux, Context API, Zustand)
• Understanding of authentication (JWT, OAuth)
• Awareness of SEO best practices and web performance
• Experience with Tailwind CSS or other styling frameworks
