We are expanding our engineering team and looking for an experienced Senior MERN Stack Developer who can contribute to architecture decisions, lead development initiatives, and mentor junior team members.

Role Overview

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned full-stack developer with deep expertise in the MERN stack and a strong understanding of scalable software design. This role involves end-to-end development, system optimization, and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Stack Development:

• Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable applications using MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js.

Architecture & Design:

• Design application architecture with a focus on performance, scalability, maintainability, and security.

Backend Engineering:

• Build server-side logic, RESTful APIs, authentication systems, and database integrations.

Frontend Engineering:

• Develop clean, responsive, and intuitive UI components using React and modern JavaScript frameworks.

Database Management:

• Design schemas, optimize queries, and implement best practices for MongoDB performance and storage.

Testing & Code Quality:

• Write unit tests, debug applications, and ensure high-quality code through best practices and reviews.

Version Control:

• Work with Git-based workflows for collaboration, code review, and deployment.

Security & Compliance:

• Apply secure coding standards and prevent vulnerabilities in application architecture and code.

Documentation:

• Maintain proper and detailed documentation for systems, APIs, workflows, and deployments.

Collaboration & Leadership:

• Work closely with UI/UX teams, product managers, and stakeholders.
• Mentor and support junior team members to promote learning and team efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 4+ years of hands-on MERN stack and full-stack development experience.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js.
• Frontend Expertise: Solid experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React ecosystem.
• Backend Knowledge: Strong understanding of API architecture, server-side scripting, and performance tuning.
• Testing & Debugging: Experience with automated testing frameworks and debugging complex applications.
• Architecture Understanding: Knowledge of scalable system design, software patterns, and cloud fundamentals.
• Security Awareness: Familiarity with web security standards, authentication, and safe coding practices.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership qualities, analytical thinking, and collaborative mindset.
