To support our expanding engineering team, we are seeking an experienced Senior MERN Stack Engineer who can take ownership of complex development tasks, contribute to architectural planning, and provide guidance to junior developers.

Role Overview

This position is ideal for a highly skilled full-stack developer with extensive experience in the MERN stack and modern application architecture. You will be involved in the complete software development lifecycle, from design and development to optimization and deployment, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesFull-Stack Engineering

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performing applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.

System Architecture

• Plan and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable system architectures.

Backend Development

• Build efficient server-side logic, RESTful APIs, authentication systems, and database integrations.

Frontend Development

• Create responsive, intuitive user interfaces using React and modern JavaScript frameworks.

Database Optimization

• Design database schemas, improve MongoDB performance, and follow best practices for data management.

Code Quality & Testing

• Write unit tests, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure clean, maintainable code through regular reviews.

Version Control & Deployment

• Collaborate using Git-based workflows for source control, branching, and releases.

Security Practices

• Follow secure coding standards and proactively identify and resolve security risks.

Documentation

• Maintain clear documentation for APIs, system architecture, workflows, and deployment procedures.

Collaboration & Mentorship

• Work closely with designers, product managers, and stakeholders.
• Support and mentor junior developers through knowledge sharing and constructive feedback.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in MERN stack and full-stack development.
• Technical Skills: Strong expertise in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
• Frontend Knowledge: Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern React libraries.
• Backend Expertise: Solid understanding of APIs, server-side performance tuning, and system optimization.
• Testing: Experience with automated testing frameworks and debugging complex applications.
• Architecture: Familiarity with scalable system design, software patterns, and basic cloud concepts.
• Security: Knowledge of authentication methods, web security standards, and secure development practices.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.
