To strengthen our growing engineering team, we are looking for a Senior MERN Stack Engineer who can handle complex development work, contribute to system design decisions, and mentor junior developers.

Role Overview

This role is well-suited for an experienced full-stack developer with strong expertise in the MERN stack and modern application development. You will participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including planning, development, optimization, and deployment, while working closely with cross-functional teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesFull-Stack Development

• Develop, enhance, and maintain robust applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.

System Design & Architecture

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable application architectures.

Backend Engineering

• Create efficient server-side logic, RESTful APIs, authentication mechanisms, and database integrations.

Frontend Engineering

• Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React and modern JavaScript tools.

Database Management

• Design optimized database schemas and improve MongoDB performance following best practices.

Code Quality & Testing

• Write unit tests, debug complex issues, and maintain clean, reusable, and well-structured code.

Version Control & Deployment

• Work with Git-based workflows for source control, branching, and release management.

Security Practices

• Apply secure coding principles and proactively identify and address potential security vulnerabilities.

Documentation

• Maintain up-to-date documentation for APIs, system architecture, workflows, and deployment processes.

Collaboration & Mentorship

• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and stakeholders.
• Guide and mentor junior developers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience with the MERN stack and full-stack development.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
• Frontend Skills: Solid knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern React libraries.
• Backend Skills: Experience with API development, performance optimization, and server-side best practices.
• Testing: Familiarity with automated testing tools and debugging complex systems.
• Architecture: Understanding of scalable system design, design patterns, and basic cloud concepts.
• Security: Knowledge of authentication methods, web security standards, and secure development practices.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.
