Role Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior MERN Stack Developer to join our on-site night shift team in Lahore. This role involves full ownership of application development, participation in technical decision-making, and providing guidance to junior developers. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills and hands-on experience building production-grade MERN applications.

Core ResponsibilitiesFull-Stack Development

• Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js

System Design & Architecture

• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable application architectures
• Contribute to technical planning and architectural discussions

Backend Engineering

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and server-side functionality
• Implement authentication, authorization, and database integrations

Frontend Engineering

• Develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces using React and modern JavaScript
• Ensure consistent UI performance across devices

Database Management

• Design optimized MongoDB schemas
• Improve database performance and query efficiency

Code Quality & Testing

• Write clean, modular, and reusable code
• Debug complex issues and implement unit and integration tests

Version Control & Deployment

• Manage code using Git-based version control systems
• Support deployment and release processes

Security & Best Practices

• Apply secure coding standards
• Identify and mitigate potential security risks

Documentation

• Maintain clear technical documentation for APIs, workflows, and deployments

Team Collaboration & Mentorship

• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and stakeholders
• Guide and mentor junior developers through code reviews and technical support

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional experience with the MERN stack
• Core Technologies: Strong expertise in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js
• Frontend Skills: Advanced JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and React ecosystem knowledge
• Backend Skills: API development, server-side optimization, and performance tuning
• Testing & Debugging: Experience with automated testing tools and debugging techniques
• Architecture Knowledge: Understanding of scalable systems, design patterns, and basic cloud concepts
• Security Awareness: Familiarity with authentication, authorization, and web security standards
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and analytical abilities
