MERN Stack Instructor/Trainer

Octet Solutions is a Canada-based software company with operations in Pakistan, specializing in SaaS platforms, VoIP technology, and workforce management tools. It also runs a training institute focused on industry-ready tech education.

Responsibilities:

Design and deliver a comprehensive/compressed MERN Stack course (Beginner to Advanced level). Teach React.js, Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, JavaScript, ES6+, APIs, Authentication, and Deployment. Conduct live coding sessions, hands-on projects, and real-world applications. Provide structured learning paths, coding challenges, and assessments for students. Guide students on best coding practices, debugging, and optimization techniques. Mentor students on career paths, technical interviews, and portfolio building. Stay updated with the latest trends in web development and integrate new technologies into the curriculum.

Maintain a motivating and engaging classroom environment (both online and on-site).

Requirements:

Bachelor's in CS or equivalent experience. Atleast 4-5 years professional experience with MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node) Strong JavaScript (ES6+), React Hooks, and API development skills Proven portfolio of deployed full-stack projects (GitHub/live links) Clear teaching ability; can simplify complex concepts Curriculum design and lesson planning ability MongoDB (schema design, Mongoose, aggregations) Authentication, JWT, and role-based access implementation Git/GitHub proficiency with team workflows Experience with Redux or Context API Hands-on mentorship, debugging, and code review experience Deployment via Digital Oceans or others Prior teaching or mentorship experience (bootcamps, training preferred).

Bonus: TypeScript, Next.js, Docker, WebSockets, CI/CD
