Skilled Fabricator / Welder (TIG & MIG)

• Washington, Tyne & Wear
• £19.00–£20.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)
• 40 Hours per Week + Overtime Available
• Permanent Position – Immediate Start

Morfabrication is a growing, family-run metal fabrication company based in Washington. We specialise in bespoke metalwork, delivering high-quality, functional, and decorative products across a range of industries. Due to increased workload and continued company growth, we are looking to expand our team.

The Role

We are seeking a versatile and experienced Fabricator/Welder to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will be confident working independently from technical drawings and producing high-quality finished work to exacting standards.

A trade test will form part of the interview process.

Key Responsibilities

• TIG and MIG welding to a high standard
• Fabricating mild steel round tube joints (TIG essential)
• Working from engineering drawings independently
• Finishing stainless steel to brushed and polished standards
• General fabrication duties within a workshop environment

Desirable (Not Essential) Skills

• Stainless steel fabrication experience
• Sheet metal fabrication
• Press brake operation
• Milling machine experience
• On-site installation experience
• CSCS card (or equivalent)

Training can be provided for the right candidate in certain areas.

Pay & Benefits

• £19.00–£20.00 per hour (depending on experience and skillset)
• £25.00 per hour overtime rate
• £30.00 per hour weekend rate (Saturday & Sunday)
• 40-hour permanent contract

Working Hours

Monday – Thursday: 07:00 – 16:00
Friday: 07:00 – 13:00
