Metal Fabricator/Assembler (Zagre, Croatia)

Responsible for cutting, shaping, assembling, and finishing metal components according to blueprints and specifications. This role requires proficiency with hand and power tools, metalworking equipment, and the ability to read technical drawings while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate metal parts using cutting, bending, drilling, grinding, and welding techniques
• Assemble metal components and subassemblies per drawings and work instructions
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and shop drawings
• Operate fabrication equipment such as press brakes, shears, saws, grinders, and drills
• Perform welding (MIG, TIG, or Stick) as required (if applicable)
• Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications
• Measure and mark materials using precision tools (calipers, tape measures, squares)
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Assist with material handling, loading, and unloading as needed
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1–3 years of experience in metal fabrication or assembly preferred
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
• Basic math skills and attention to detail
• Welding certification is a plus (if welding is required)
• Forklift certification is a plus
