Metal Finisher

Job Description:

Employees will be responsible for setting up and buffing, sanding, or finishing cabinets. Employee may be required to spot weld cabinets, doors, floors, etc.


Qualifications:

  • Ability to set-up, operate, and maintain all welding department equipment.
  • Knowledge of use of power tool such as buffers and sanders.
  • Must be able to read blueprints and scale
  • Must have knowledge and ability to use hand tools
  • Knowledge of and ability to meet all standards acceptable to Quality Control and Dept. Supervisor
  • Weld or metal finish to acceptable quality level

Physical Requirements:


  • Must be able to be on feet up to 8 hours.
  • Physically able to do repetitive bending, twisting, gripping, grasping and lifting up to 75 lbs.
  • Frequent gripping, grasping, bending and twisting
  • Able to keep up with speed of the machine
  • Knowledge of and willingness to follow all safety precautions of welding to prevent burns, flash, etc.

Qualifications:

Ability to run air tools including grinder and sander

Obtain supplies, position work and follow verbal or written instructions.

Attention to detail and the ability to metal finish to an acceptable quality and speed.


Physical Requirements:


Must be able to be on feet up to 8 hours.

Ability to move large doors on and off carts and onto tables and move cabinets around.

Physically able to do repetitive bending, twisting, gripping, grasping and lifting up to 75 lbs. when required.
