Metal Stamping Die Design Engineer (Training Available)

Responsibilities:

Die Design Engineers are responsible for designing new metal stamping tools and participating in the design review process with coworkers and customers. Responsible for updating current designs as necessary to support manufacturing and evolving customer requirements.

Description:

-Self-starter, organized, and able to meet deadlines under pressure with quality work on multiple assignments (project management skills a plus)

-Proficient producing 3D-CAD models for stamping die assemblies

-Strong written/presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively within small groups

-Recognized as a technical source by pears and others looking to them to solve problems and find solutions

Qualifications:

1 year experience using Unigraphics NX CAD software (Siemens) preferred, (or related CAD software)

-Experience with or desire to learn metal stamping die processing

-Autoform experience a plus

Experience in PC based software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Education:

Design Engineering (or in process) experience or related.

Experience in Tool & Die industry a plus/ Apprenticeship opportunities are available

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
