What are your contributions to the team?

Change analysis and manufacturing impact statements for proposed engineering changes
Change analysis and manufacturing impact statements for released engineering changes
Attending change triage meetings, technical review boards, change boards, etc for pending engineering changes
Coordinating with shop ME team to understand tooling impacts for changes
Analyzes feasibility according to optimal methods by assessing the costs, impacts and risks of a change in production and developing written business case presentations
Analyzes requirements and initiates tool design requests
Initiates change documents required for implementation of change
Participate and collaborate in a cross functional, matrixed environment
Participate and/or present in team and executive meetings
Develop and implement work arounds for the assembly line through work instructions and/or shop aides
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment
Monitors and maintains project status

How to thrive in this role?

Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Methods, Manufacturing Engineering, or related area
Must have working knowledge of Project Management principles
Must have working knowledge of lean principles
Must have working knowledge of basic quality management tools
Must have working knowledge Microsoft Office Suite, including Power Point, Excel, SharePoint and Teams
Must have ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings and specifications

ADDITIONAL DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Configuration analysis experience
Catia or CAD software interrogation experience
Structural assembly manufacturing background
SAP Routing and BOM experience
