Metro Emergency Communications Operator

Starting Wage: $27.70 hourly

Sign-On Bonus: $3000.00

Shift Differential: $.75 per hour, between 2:00pm-5:59am; seven days a week.

Please advise, this hiring process is comprised of multiple testing phases. Including a keyboarding exam, Listening & Written (L&W) exam, Interview, Background Investigation, and Psych/Medical Exam.

We are beginning to administer testing for pursuit of our May 26th, 2026 recruit class. This will be your first paid day of employment. Once applied, if you have questions rest assured, we can talk about this further on a case-by-case basis!!
