CHILD SAFEGUARDING: (select only one)
Level 3: the role holder will have contact with children and/or young people either frequently (e.g. once a week or more) or intensively (e.g. four days in one month or more or overnight) because they work in country programs; or are visiting country programs; or because they are responsible for implementing the police checking/vetting process staff.
ROLE PURPOSE:
The Child Protection (CP) & MHPSS Officer will be responsible for coordinating and implementing education interventions related to capacity building in safeguarding (SG) and Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) within Community Learning Schools in Alexandria. The officer will lead the design, coordination, and delivery of training programs aimed at strengthening the capabilities of teachers, school management, social workers, and psychologists. This role also includes providing technical, financial, and administrative support for education activities in the supported schools.

FIELDTRAVEL: The project officer is expected to spend at least 70% of his/ her time at the field sites
