MICE Sales Manager – Travel AgencyKey Responsibilities
- Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to grow MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) and corporate travel business, identifying new market segments and revenue streams.
- Establish and expand a robust portfolio of corporate clients, associations, and incentive groups through direct outreach, networking, and market research.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, destination management companies (DMCs), venues, and other vendors to secure repeat and referral business.
- Respond to RFPs by preparing and presenting tailored proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing bookings for group travel, accommodation, and event services.
- Coordinate end-to-end logistics by collaborating with operations, event planning, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of travel itineraries, transfers, and on-site support.
- Monitor competitor offerings, industry trends, and client feedback to refine packages, upsell ancillary services, and maximize revenue per event.
- Prepare and deliver regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and business plans to senior management, adjusting tactics to meet or exceed targets.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in MICE or corporate travel sales, with a track record of achieving revenue targets.
- Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and RFP management skills, backed by strong analytical ability to interpret sales metrics and market data.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and travel-booking platforms, ensuring accurate pipeline tracking and timely follow-up.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport across diverse cultural and organizational stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and results-oriented mindset, able to thrive under pressure and manage multiple projects concurrently.
