Microbiology Analyst – Fresher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Microbiology Fresher to join our pharmaceutical quality control team. The role involves routine microbiological testing of raw materials, finished products, and manufacturing environments to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform microbiological analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
• Conduct environmental monitoring (EM) of cleanrooms and controlled areas
• Carry out water testing (PW, WFI), air sampling, surface and personnel monitoring
• Execute microbial limit tests (MLT), sterility tests, and endotoxin tests under supervision
• Perform culture media preparation, sterilization, and validation
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment like autoclaves, incubators, and biosafety cabinets
• Maintain proper documentation as per GMP/GLP standards
• Support in microbiological validation studies (e.g., disinfectant efficacy, media fill trials)
• Assist in investigations of microbiological deviations and support root cause analysis
• Follow safety and aseptic procedures in all lab activities

Required Skills:

• Good understanding of basic microbiology techniques
• Knowledge of cGMP, GDP, and cleanroom behavior (preferred but not mandatory)
• Ability to work in aseptic environments (training will be provided)
• Strong observation and documentation skills
• Willingness to learn and grow in a regulated environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Microbiology / Biotechnology / Life Sciences
• Internship or academic project experience in pharmaceutical microbiology (a plus)
• Familiarity with pharmacopeial standards (USP, EP, IP)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
