Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft 365 Security & Intune Consultant to lead the assessment, implementation, security configuration, documentation, and support of a Microsoft 365 environment for a government client. The role covers Microsoft Intune deployment, Microsoft 365 E5 security configuration, Active Directory review, Exchange hybrid optimisation, file server assessment, and post-go-live managed support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct health checks and provide recommendations for Active Directory, including domain controllers, replication, user accounts, privileged access, password policies, and Group Policies
  • Review and optimise Exchange hybrid environment, including mail flow, synchronisation, authentication, and service health
  • Deploy and configure Microsoft Intune for Windows 11, iOS, and Android, including enrolment, compliance policies, configuration profiles, endpoint security baselines, App Protection Policies, and Windows Autopilot
  • Implement Microsoft 365 security controls such as Secure Score, Conditional Access, MFA, alerting, legacy authentication review, identity protection, anti-phishing, anti-malware, anti-spam, access reviews, entitlement management, and DKIM
  • Assess file servers for performance, access controls, encryption, audit settings, and feasibility of DFS / BranchCache
  • Provide Tier 1/2/3 support, policy updates, troubleshooting, onboarding support, quarterly health checks, and optimisation reports during the managed support period
  • Prepare HLD, LLD, implementation plan, WBS, documentation, user manuals, maintenance guides, and deliver training / knowledge transfer sessions for IT administrators.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune, Azure AD / Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, and Microsoft security technologies
  • Strong background in Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange hybrid, and file server administration
  • Experience with endpoint management and security baselines across Windows and mobile platforms
  • Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure and endpoint issues independently
  • Strong documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills
  • Proven delivery experience in similar Microsoft infrastructure / security projects; government-sector experience is an advantage.

Preferred Certifications Microsoft certifications related to Microsoft 365 administration, security, endpoint management, or enterprise administration will be preferred, in line with the tender requirement for Microsoft certifications / partnerships and qualified technical resources.

  • User documentation, admin training materials, and knowledge transfer
  • Quarterly support and optimisation reports.

Pay: RO400.000 - RO500.000 per month
