Role Overview

We are seeking highly experienced Microsoft Dynamics NAV / 365 Business Central Functional Consultants with extensive hands-on implementation experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for requirement gathering, solution design, functional specifications, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring successful delivery of Business Central & NAV projects.

Mandatory Skills & ExperienceCore Competencies (Must Have):

• Minimum 10+ years experience as a Functional Consultant in Microsoft Dynamics NAV & Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Minimum 5+ end-to-end implementations in NAV & Business Central.
• Strong hands-on experience in:
• Requirement gathering
• Fit-gap analysis
• Preparing solution design documents (FDD, BRD, FRD)
• Ability to work closely with business stakeholders to understand objectives, operations, and pain points.
• Expertise in translating business requirements into detailed functional specifications for technical/development teams.
• Strong understanding of business processes across:
• Finance
• Supply Chain
• Manufacturing
• Services
• Ability to collaborate with technology teams for designing scalable, compliant, and efficient solutions.
• Strong command over documentation, including process flows, use cases, workflow diagrams, and user stories.
• Hands-on participation in:
• System testing
• UAT
• Validation of delivered solutions
• Ability to identify gaps, propose process improvements, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth analysis of business requirements, workflows, and processes.
• Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDD) and Business Requirement Documents (BRD).
• Act as a bridge between business & technical teams.
• Provide functional expertise during implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Support UAT cycles and ensure solution accuracy.
• Stay updated with latest NAV/BC features, upgrades, and best practices.
• Drive process optimization, automation improvements, and solution enhancements.
• Ensure all project documentation is maintained throughout the lifecycle.
