Overview:
Colliers Engineering & Design is excited to welcome an experienced System Administrator to our expanding Technology team! In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and overall health of the company’s computer systems and corporate IT environment.
You will manage, maintain, and optimize our MECM platform, oversee system deployments and updates, and proactively monitor and enhance our enterprise infrastructure. This position plays a key part in safeguarding our technology landscape, improving performance, and supporting day-to-day operations across the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the MECM infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and upgrades.

Configure and manage Microsoft Intune for mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM)

Troubleshoot MECM and Intune issues, ensuring high availability and performance.

Collaborate with IT teams to streamline endpoint management and improve automation.

Monitor datacenter health using preexisting management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new servers as needed.

Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including laptop and desktop computers, servers, printers, phones, security updates.

Interact with the help desk and other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed.

Analyze system architecture and usage to ensure capacity and performance to meet business needs.

Perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems.

Optimize processes and lead process improvement.

Test and research new products and technologies and submit results to IT Infrastructure Manager.

Develop and document configuration guidelines. Develop and test requirements for new hardware and software.

Implement and document fail-over configuration and disaster recovery plan for critical enterprise network and server assets.

Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.

3+ years of system administration experience or a combination of education/experience with the requirements of the position.

Extensive experience in system administration, particularly in a Windows environment

Strong hands-on experience with MECM Current Branch (installation, configuration, and administration)

Proficiency in Microsoft Intune, including device enrollment, app deployment, and policy configuration

Knowledge of Windows 10/11, Azure AD, and hybrid environments.

Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation.

Experience with endpoint protection solutions and security best practices.

Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DFS, IIS, DHCP and Group Policy Management.

Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
Compensation: $69,090 to $99,960 per year (depending on qualifications)
