Microsoft Power BI Trainer

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Microsoft Power BI Trainer to deliver engaging and hands-on training sessions to learners at various levels. The trainer will be responsible for teaching Power BI concepts, data visualization, DAX functions, data modeling, report publishing, and dashboarding. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in data analytics, business intelligence, and Power BI implementation. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deliver training programs on Microsoft Power BI for students or corporate professionals. Conduct interactive sessions including practical demonstrations, case studies, and real-time project exercises. Train learners on topics such as: Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service Data connection and transformation using Power Query (M Language) Data modeling and relationships DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) formulas and calculations Report and dashboard design principles Power BI administration and sharing reports securely Evaluate and assess trainee performance through projects, quizzes, and assignments. Stay updated with the latest Power BI updates and best practices to keep the training content current. Create and maintain course materials, lesson plans, and documentation. Provide one-on-one guidance and support to learners when needed. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field. Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Power BI development or BI analytics. Proven experience in data visualization, data modeling, and DAX expressions. Strong knowledge of SQL, Excel, and data transformation techniques. Excellent presentation, communication, and mentoring skills. Experience using Power BI Service, Gateway configuration, and Power BI Mobile preferred. Certification in Microsoft Power BI or Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) is an added advantage. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in corporate or academic training. Familiarity with other BI tools (Tableau, QlikView, etc.). Exposure to Azure Data Services or Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
