Mid-Level Electrical Engineer

Job Overview
We are looking for an Electrical Engineering / CAD Engineer to join Texas Microelectronics Corporation in Houston to help us create Hybrid Designs for High Temperature Electronics

Responsibilities

Supports Engineering throughout the lifecycle for NPD and Legacy Products including but not limited to:

· Reviews Component Datasheets to understand their electrical and mechanical requirements.

· Generates Component Footprints and Schematics.

· Completes design layouts of PCB and Hybrid Electronic Modules using CAD software.

· Develops Testing Fixtures and executes Product Validation and Verification.

· Develops Automated and Semi-Automated Test Programs for Hybrids.

· Creates Engineering Change Requests and updates production files.

· Assists Production Testing and supports Failure Analysis activities.

· Provides training and supports Junior Technicians.

Qualifications

Education:

· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering or related field.

Must have:

· Experience with PCB Design, CAD Software, layout, footprints, BOM and documentation.

· Understanding of Analog and Digital electronic circuits and schematics.

· Experience with Manual and Automated Testing.

· Experience with Electrical Hardware and Testing Software / Firmware.

· Experience with programming languages.

Great to have:

· Experience with Autodesk Eagle, Hybrid Multi-chip Module Layouts, Design of Power Supplies, High Temperature Electronics, LabView.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
